Redhill Squash Club is committed to providing the best facilities to squash and racketball players. We are in the exceptional position of being part of a public leisure centre with 5 squash courts, gym, swimming, fitness studios and cafe for all the family.
We are affiliated to England Squash and Surrey Squash & Racketball Association. We also partner with Decathlon in Croydon and Crawley.
Our enthusiastic committee ensures we cater for all abilities, running various club events in a friendly environment throughout the year. We have an increasingly active social scene taking advantage of early bird access to many professional events, all of which is communicated via our news updates.
We host a number of courses throughout the year ranging from beginners to personal coaching with Level 3 coach Clare Wright.
Our open night is "Turn up and and play" every Friday 6:00pm - 9:00pm when we invite members and non members to play games with people of mixed ability.
Membership gives you access to our league, ladders and closed competitions, and benefits of membership of England Squash. For corporate members we can run a separate league and ladder system for local business to take advantage of the off peak court costs.
We currently have two strong teams in the Surrey county leagues where we play local clubs.
Corporate sponsorship is available for our teams and in our 5 courts.
Leagues and ladders
Our single league which covers all levels of ability is run on a monthly rotation with each division having 6 players. At the end of each month two players go up and two players go down.
We use standard competition double yellow ball in all leagues except the bottom three where we use a single yellow which encourages better stroke play and avoids unnecessary strain.
Scores are recorded on our dedicated scoring app which automatically awards points and manages your position in the league. All match scores are also recorded on the Squash Levels website. So you can rank yourself against any other player in the World.
Our scoring app allows us to run multiple ladders for specific groups outside of the club leagues. So you can run your own group event. Just contact other members if you fancy extra games. We can also arrange for corporate members to have access to the app with local businesses and inter-company groups, taking advantage of off-peak court prices.
Tournaments
Throughout the year we run a variety of competitions purely for fun including short closed competitions and challenging other nationwide clubs.
In 2020 we look forward to supporting World Squash Day and other fund raising events.
The main event is our annual handicapped Cup and Shield knockout tournament run between July and December. This runs separate to our leagues and is only open to members. It culminates in a Christmas final and end of year prize giving.
Surrey Cup Teams
Redhill Squash Club has two teams in the Surrey County Club competition, the Surrey Cup. Players in the top three leagues will be invited to play in our Surrey Cup teams (see the Leagues section here). Run across a Winter and Summer season, we have a rolling pool of players to make up a team of 5 for each match. Matches are played at home and away with other Surrey squash clubs. You get to play the best club players in the county and enjoy their hospitality. Feel free to cheer our teams on when playing at home.

Turn up and play
Every Friday between 18.00 - 2100 we open up the courts for anyone to play a game with opponents of all different standards. It’s a great way to kick off the weekend, find new challenging opponents or pick up some techniques and share your experiences. Come alone or bring a friend and no need to be a member of Redhill Squash club. We meet down at the court entrances. Facilities
Redhill Squash Club is a society run club whish is based out of the Donyngs Leisure centre in Redhill. Donyngs houses 5 squash courts which can be booked via the Better Health website in 40min sessions. In addition to the squash courts there are gym facilities, a swimming pool, fitness studios and sports hall as well as wet and dry changing facilites and a coffee shop.
To use the courts you need to book via the better health website or pay on entry or become a member of Donyngs. Donyngs has different types of memberships to suit each individual with more information on their Membership Page, the two main membership options are:
Monthly Membership - A monthly fee of £60 and you have access to all the leisure centre facilities and one court booking per day
Pay and Play Membership - Annual fee of £40 and you pay per activity which may be at discounted price depending on the time of the day.

Club Fees
To assist with the administaition of Redhill Squash Club we charge an annual fee of £35 which is payable each May, and this includes England Squash membership and liability insurance. The Club will help you register with England Squash if you are not already registered. If you are already registered and your membership is paid by another club, a reduced fee will be payable to us. To be covered by the liability insurance you must activate your registration. Members joining after May will pay a reduced fee as below, which includes England Squash membership.
Members joining between May and July also pay £35.
Members joining between Aug and Oct pay £31.
Members joining between Nov and Jan pay £26.
Members joining between Feb and Apr pay £22.
